Sophie Johnson (she/her) is a Digitization Assistant for the History of Black Writing. She
completed her BA in History and Sociology from Saint Mary’s College in May, 2025, and she is
currently enrolled as a graduate student at Indiana University pursuing a dual Master’s degree in
History and Library Science. In her free time she enjoys playing board games, listening to music,
and baking.
